Moved my blog to GitHub...
Yesterday, I saw a post on LinkedIn from one of my connections, talking about moving from Wordpress to GitHub. Unfortunately, I have been unable to figure out who, else I wanted to say thanks!

And, yes…, I join the apparently 100s of people moving off Wordpress to either Lovable, GitHub or other platforms with the help of AI. I found myself with $85 worth of Fable 5 credits, which had to be used for something right, so why not put it to the test.
There’s probably still some cleanup to do, but I am fairly amazed with the result after a few re-run, Fable 5 was able to read the blog posts, the comments, the subscribers and all the images and push these to my new blog repository: https://github.com/Freddy-DK/freddysblog.
I am using Jekyll for deployment, giscus for like/dislike/discussions, follow.it for subscriptions and VS Code for writing. In VS Code, I have installed eliostruyf.vscode-front-matter, mushan.vscode-paste-image and yzhang.markdown-all-in-one to make the experience great.
Let me know if you encounter any bugs or problems with my new home.
BTW, I still have $5 left.
Enjoy
